Fans of Hollywood actor Morris Chestnut may be surprised to hear that his Hidden Hills home has left the list of homes for sale in Los Angeles county. Public records show he purchased the property back in 2007 for $3.3 million while the Los Angeles Times reports he sold the equestrian property as a short sale for $2.9 million.
Chestnut is best known for his roles in films such as Boyz N the Hood and popular television series including American Horror Story and V.
The Times says the Mediterranean-style home was built in 1974 but underwent some remodeling by Chestnut. The estate sits on 2.4 acres of land and offers 5,522 square feet of living space including six bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms.
The home’s open-beam ceilings and stone floors likely attracted the unnamed buyer, while other features including a tennis court, swimming pool, covered patio and barbecue area were likely favorites of Chestnut. The news source also notes the house has a pasture and a five-stall stable for horses.
